The theology on being naked and ashamed may be new for many denominations, but it does not mean that the Lord Jesus did not teach this theology as doctrine as did the apostle Paul and the apostle John. In order to understand this theology, we must first understand that the day God created Adam and Eve they were already glorified spirit, soul and body. In the day that they ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil they died, this word is another word for becoming mortal. In other words, when Adam and Eve partook from this tree their spirit, soul and body became corruptible or mortal. As we study these two words naked and ashamed, we will come to the knowledge that naked refers to mortal while being ashamed refers to not having a glorified body to cover our mortality.
